Special Events 

From time to time the Houston County Amateur Radio Club is involved in special events.  Special Events are events, apart from Emergency Communications,  that the HCARC, as a group, takes part for the purpose of advancing Amateur Radio and public service to our community.  Typical Special Events are on the air commemorative QSO parties or community events were radio communication is needed for coordination and logistic support of the event.  ARRL Field Day -  Field Day is always the fourth full weekend of June, beginning at 1800 UTC Saturday and ending at 2100 UTC Sunday. Field Day 2009 will be held June 27-28, 2009.  More Info here.

Christmas On The Square - Downtown Crockett, Texas.  Look for the HCARC booth and operating club station. Date is pending.  Check back with us later.
